This amazing baby is Charlie! She’s a 7 month old Golden Retriever and we love her so so much. She’s the nicest dog and loves getting pet by everyone.
We recently noticed she had problems opening her mouth and after a little digging we found out she probably has something called “Myositis” which is a really rare degenerative auto-immune disease (Kinda like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) from the Ice Bucket Challenge) but the doctors think it best to take a scan to make sure it isn’t cancer…
As of now, she can barely open her mouth over half an inch (about a centimeter)
The bills are a little overwhelming but we know that if we catch it quick and medicate her she can be saved.
We’d need to get her a scan to eliminate the option of cancer, for the medication: immunosuppressive drugs, antibiotics, corticosteroids (another drug)
We’re really hoping to save our puppy since she’s really the sweetest baby dog ever. We’d like to ask for all your help and raise about 3000$ and really any dollar helps.
We’ll throw in some good Puppy Videos™ every now and then of her playing and being a good girl.
