marauders4evr:

I love the 1971 film version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for multiple reasons. This is one of them:

Augustus Gloop: Contaminates the factory’s entire supply of chocolate, throwing off production for potential months/years, wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars, potentially dying in the process.

Willy Wonka:

Violet Beauregarde: Eats a piece of dangerous, unstable, candy, turning into a horrid mutation the likes of which nobody has ever seen, potentially dying in the process.

Willy Wonka:

Veruca Salt: Lets her unabashedly cold privileged self talk about the sins of gluttony all while hinting at animal enslavement, potentially dying in the process.

Willy Wonka:

Mike TV: Just completely and utterly breaks physics with absolutely no regard to his self-preservation, probably doesn’t die, not sure how his quality of life is.

Willy Wonka:

Charlie: Takes a sip of soda.

Willy Wonka:

(R.I.P. Gene Wilder. You will be missed.)
