Imagine sleeping next to him, the night had been a lazy one. With just him laying behind you, arm lazily draped over your waist as he sleepily peppers kisses over your shoulders. You’re both too exhausted to do anything but sleep.

It use to come as a shock. The first time, you all but leapt out of bed. Yelling curses and demanding to know where Dark was, until he changed back to his male form. You almost fainted from the confusion of this new information. It took some getting use too, but it was still Dark no matter what body he was in. So now, on mornings when Dark’s form shifts, you snuggle closer and she kisses the top of your head. Murmuring gentle nothings until you both fall asleep again.

I know a guy who was a teacher, and he had a rule like this himself. He was never alone in a room with one of his female students. A couple years back there was a girl who was unhappy about her grades who tried to accuse him of assaulting her. The whole school new him to be a good man though, and all of his students stood up for him. Every single one. (Aside from the girl accusing him.) He kept to that rule very carefully, and his students trusted him absolutely and the school had great confidence in him. That rule literally saved his career.
His personal rule protects himself and others and people are STILL accusing him of being a predator.

Exactly! This “rule” is just dumb. If you’re not going to sexually harass someone, you shouldn’t need a rule to stay away from people of the opposite sex. Having this rule is evidence that says that you don’t trust yourself around people of the opposite sex. That’s creepy af. You shouldn’t need to do that, especially if “you and your wife” are loyal. Oh wow, so loyal that he doesn’t trust himself to not make a move when around other women.
