Greetings! The name is Time Lizzy, or Time as my friends call me. They/Them pronouns. I love to try new things, draw, sing, dance, garden, and I do some witchcraft in my free time. I'm a Hetalia role playing partner if you guys are interested.
Nasa was originally an organization to explore the deepest parts of the sea. However, they found something there to make them decide to go to space instead….
“Your job — as students who are receiving an education — is to be aware of your privilege. And use this particular privilege called “education” to do your best to achieve great things, all the while advocating for those in the rows behind you.”
Can I just say how cool it was that both of these superheroines’ personalities and powers were explored in this episode? And how well it was done?
Starfire was not shamed for being emotional. Her powers come from her emotions.
Raven was not shamed for suppressing her emotions. Her power requires amazing control.
They both. Work. They are both different kinds of strength, and they are both heroic and powerful and good. And they each learned from the other, and helped each other out by seeing from each others’ perspective, and finding the value in their differing approaches! Wow!
Fuck yes, this is how you write super-ladies, okay. There’s more than one way to be a “strong female character.” There’s all different kinds of strength. Why don’t more people GET this?
Again another young ninja who has learned chakra control…
okay, so the second ride. the very first time i went on one of those closed-in-gravity-things (it was called the Gravitron when i went on it) the guy in the booth in the middle controller thing was. wild. he had a beard down to his crotch and long ass hair to match. he played classic rock (ozzy, guns n roses, black sabbath, etc) probably as loud as possible. and you know the fence-thing around the middle booth? once the ride was on & we were all stuck to the wall, he got up. he jumped onto the fence. and he walked parallel to the ground around the fence. i swear to you, the lord god himself was on that ride, defying the Gravitron, walking parallel to the ground. it was the most surreal experience i have ever had.
