One of the most beautiful commercials I have ever seen. Good on you, Amazon Prime.

Also just saying the music in the background is the piece “i giorni” by Ludovico Einaudi and it’s the most perfectly beautiful piece for this advertisement.

I still cry and I think I’ve watched it 200times now. I can’t

Everytime i watch it i start to love it even more

this legitimately gave me chills

This is so cute

It is so, SO fucked up that we just accept the use of chemical weapons by the police as normal when equivalent weapons are forbidden from use in actual warfare

“chemical weapons”

Tear gas is a chemical weapon banned for military use by the Chemical Weapons Convention of 1993, but you’re a reactionary fuckwit so you don’t actually care about facts or anything else I have to say, you just care about being a contrarian asshole

Is pepper spray a chemical weapon by your definition too?

Seems like that’s dubiously legal, too. Although considered nonlethal in general, it can cause a person’s airways to swell up, which makes it potentially lethal if the person affected already has breathing difficulties.

How do we keep rowdy people under control, then? Tear gas is out, pepper spray is out… rubber bullets? Tasers? Water cannons only work if you plan far enough in advance that you know you need an entire vehicle on standby. It’s not like you can just carry one of those on your person. Personally, of all those options, I’d rather just be pepper sprayed.

“To solve riots, we must first address the conditions by which riots occur.” Mass public movement is only so strong when faced with a preeminent and obvious threat that can only be survived by organizing. Generally, history has shown that if government actually cedes to the people and allows changes in policy so vehemently resented that cities are torn apart from within, little to no further force will be necessary.

I love how they just presume that people just go out into the streets over every little thing and that it’s par for the course.

No mate.

If your people are so pissed and frustrated that they’re actively in the streets marching something is wrong.

Donna Sheridan led a flash mob to “When I Kissed The Teacher” with feminine pronouns as the leader of a girl group and then proceeded to sleep with three different men in the span of like two weeks after deciding to just run off to a tiny Greek island where she eventually found Aphrodite’s fountain. She both sounds like a woman straight out of Greek mythology and also the definition of chaotic bisexual.

Thomas, I just wanna say you don’t have to keep apologizing every time a video gets delayed. We understand filming, editing, exporting, processing, and uploading a video takes time.

Don’t say you can’t tease us with pictures or trailers or whatever. You can!!! Just don’t put dates on them! I mean seriously how many times do you watch commercials or ads for things that are coming eventually. All!! The!! Time!!

Regardless of whether it is Cartoon Therapy, Sanders Sides, or any other scripted series, please take your time and don’t push yourself. That goes the same for your friends who help you!!

We, your fans, will wait for a product all of you are 100% proud of. We aren’t going anywhere. Trust me. 🙂

Now go get a good night’s sleep and we will see the next episode of Cartoon Therapy soon. I know I’m excited!!!

Love you Thomas!! @thatsthat24

this! And to be honest? I don’t even mind dates, because there’s this palpable *energy* in the fandom when we’re anticipating a video that we’ve been given a projected date on, and like…I always just take the date as a ‘best-case scenario’ estimate anyway? Because yeah, shit happens, my own internet has been bonkers slow off and on the past week so who the heck knows what’s gonna happen when? And if we get that ‘sorry not today’ message it’s just like…yeah, okay, moment of disappointment, but also a moment of tension release and then it starts building again with excitement and it’s…weirdly fun to me???

I know it’s frustrating to some though, and that some don’t find it fun to anticipate like this–I’m not trying to invalidate your experiences either. Just tossing my two cents out there. I’ve always been one to enjoy a little bit of anticipation, I guess!

Anyway well said though Amanda and tbh as long as we’re kept informed as to what’s up, I’m a happy camper! ❤
