Canada: “Hey…It’s okay..!” Matthew would be one to sit down with his s/o and try to have them talk more, just so they can try to work on their stutter. He wouldn’t mind too much that they’re quiet and introverted, since he is too, and if there are ever moments that they were uncomfortable in public spaces, he’d know how it feels and make sure to leave with them shortly.
England: “Don’t fret, love. It’s alright.” Arthur would always sit down and talk quietly with his s/o and if they stuttered, he wouldn’t notice at all. He would let it pass by as if nothing happened. He wouldn’t mind the introversion since he is introverted himself. Arthur would always love to just sit with them at a quiet cafe or library and talk the day away…just the two of them.
Germany: “Take your time, there is no rush.” Ludwig can relax, believe it or not, and if his s/o had a stutter or was quiet, he wouldn’t mind. He try to reassure them and tell them that it is okay and to take their time. Ludwig would always help them through a stutter moment and wouldn’t let them feel too embarrassed. Also, he doesn’t mind the quiet, in fact he enjoys it.
Italy: “So you don’t want to go out?” Feliciano loves to meet new people and to socialize, so if his s/o was more introverted, he would adapt. Though he would miss going out a lot and being a social butterfly…however, if his s/o ever stuttered Feli would make sure they didn’t feel embarrassed and kept talking.
Japan: “Take a deep breath.” Kiku is very quiet and introverted himself so he wouldn’t mind his s/o being that way at all. He would always want to speak with them over tea in the gardens or reading peacefully side by side. He would always calmly wait for them to work through their stutter and would never rush them
France: “I hope I have not offended..!” Francis would be pretty worried that he’s offended his s/o in the past..but he’d be working on making sure he never did again. The hardest thing for him would be him not calling his s/o “beautiful” or “handsome”, but he’d try his best to start using “amazing” or “dashing” instead.
Canada: “Oh..I’m sorry..!” Matthew would feel like he’s been offending them this entire time…so he’d feel horrible..but after a moment or so, he’d try and calm down before just telling them that he will try his best to pick up non-binary pronouns..which would actually be quite easy for him.
England: “I haven’t misspoke, have I?” Arthur wouldn’t want to offend his s/o and would ask them to give him a list of words that they like and he can adjust to saying. Arthur would need some time to adjust to the new pronouns and words, but he would do his best. He would feel horrible if he found out he had offended them before.
Germany: “I apologize if I have offended.” Ludwig would look at his s/o and blink. He would feel horrible for offending them in the past and would work hard at saying the right pronouns every time. He would ask for forgiveness for past offenses and would work at making sure his s/o felt safe and valid around him.
Hehe…so Admin Jay just had to have a Doctors appointment on Valentines day! *obnoxious sigh* It’s also the Admins first Valentines Day where they could see each other! But in reality, we’re just going out on the 13th instead! (Less of a crowd to be honest..) ((Admin Sarah is also getting all dolled up..so that’s fun!)) Anyways!! You guys are here for Hetalia, so we’ll get to the ask!
Every year Francis changes up their Valentines Day date- but it’s never plain. One year he took his s/o to see a live show then dancing, one year he made reservations months in advance for an amazing Valentines Day dinner, and once he set the entire house up with rose petals and candles, leading to a table with his s/o’s favorite meal; home cooked, of course.
Francis will send everyone a rose and a small box of chocolates for Valentines day, even if he’s not dating them. He feels like everyone deserves a secret Valentines Day admirer~ He’d always send them anonymously, though.
At random times throughout the night, Francis can be caught looking at his s/o with true love in his eyes before whispering “I love you”, and then a flattering compliment afterward.
Francis probably spends all year planning the perfect Valentines Day.
Later that night after their date, Francis spends the night showering his s/o in kissing and gives them all the attention they could ever ask for.
Though…Francis’ favorite thing is stocking up on chocolates after Valentines Day just to give to s/o whenever he sees fit.
Germany: “Don’t add extra-..hmph..” Ludwig wouldn’t mind baking with his s/o every once and a while- but Ludwig is someone who always goes by the book. Even if the recipe doesn’t look right in person..he assumes that the recipe he’s following is correct. He’d leave most of the decorating to his s/o though, and beg that they don’t eat all of the frosting..he would occasionally put some frosting on their nose or cheek, and always let them lick the spoons clean when he was done.
Italy: “Ah! This will be fun!” Feliciano loves to bake! If his s/o wanted to bake with him, it would be half a second before he agreed! He’d suggest a few recipes (usually authentic Italian ones) that he knew off the top of his head! Despite him being a bit ditsy and even sometimes clumsy, his desserts would always turn out well. Baking is something he’s amazing at! Though, he would be notorious for making a mess as him and his s/o try and lick the batter at the bottom of the bowl..
Japan: “I would enjoy that..” Kiku is actually quite fond of baking..and if he was baking with his s/o, he would see it as time when the two of them could bond, while also being in their elements. He’d try to split their work in half, for example, he’d usually mix and measure everything, but his s/o could pour everything and bake it. He’d have the most fun decorating with them, though. He’d even make a small contest out of who could make the prettiest cake art.
