Yes I did use the mug as foreshadowing for sans. Just how I did with gaster’s opinion on the stars, referencing to him as well.

so I wanted to point this out; In Dust, Sans “dies” which is then followed by Gaster’s Mug which shatters. Both haven’t been seen throughout Do or Die and LOVE part. In Love (part 2), both came back because of the same person that saved them: Papyrus. He finds the broken pieces of the mug and puts them back together, it’s like this is foreshadowing Sans being saved by Papyrus later on in the episode. “Gifts are very special! From a son to a father, from a friend to a friend…”
