As a little kid I had some old 90s Barbie comic books, and these three panels in particular actually had a profound influence on me as a young artist. Every time I’m designing outfits for characters I always have these three panels pop into my head and I gotta step back and ask myself “Can they walk in this? Can they sit in this? Can they get in and out of this by themselves and in a reasonable amount of time?” And thank you old Barbie comics for bringing these issues to my attention from a young age.
