Reasons to stop acting like “menstruation” is a dirty word
- It’s fucking not.
- It harms trans and nonbinary people who menstruate to refer to menstrual hygiene products as “lady products,” “feminine hygiene products,” etc.
- It erases us.
- It misgenders us.
3. It silences people who experience menstruation by discouraging us from talking about it.
