My review for the Pharaoh Atem Kotobukiya Artfx J figure

My first take on reviewing merch. More specifically, this fantastic new figure released by Kotobukiya Artfx J. ^_^

First off, Atem’s box is smaller than Yami’s box. Also, the hieroglyphs inside of Atem’s box are black and can be clearly seen while the ones inside Yami’s box are white and can only be seen at certain angles.

Here’s a full body picture of the figure itself. He’s so gorgeous and both his arms and legs are so well defined! ❤ His golden accessories are really shiny and the overall paint job is marvelous, especially on his cape.

(And yes, he wears white undies but I couldn’t take a pic of them with my camera XD)

Just a warning: his earings aren’t static but hanging kind of loosely on small loops at the bottom of his ears so make sure to handle them carefully because the loops have a small opening from which the earings could come off.

Oh! and see the wing-like golden accessory on his shoulder? That also comes off easily so that’s also something that needs to be handled with care.

Here’s a pic of the shoulder accessory I just mentioned taken off of the figure as well as the extra hand that Atem comes with in case you want to take his cape off because it turns out that the hand that’s holding his cape is actually attached to it.

Here’s a lovely beheaded pharaoh who’s clearly not pleased about being detached from his body.

Now here’s Atem without his cape and with the extra hand replacing the cape hand. I’m really glad that Kotobukiya gave us this display option. ^_^

Atem posing right next to Yami, who doesn’t have his cards because at the moment of taking this pic they were inside the small figure accessories bag that I have in order to avoid losing really small figure things.

My final score: 10/10 totally buy the Pharaoh Atem figure if you get the chance as well as the Yami figure, both from Kotobukiya Artfx J.
