Allen knows when to shut his mouth, he rarely uses that knowledge, but for the right people he will. If Alfred came to him upset, Allen would shove the teasing and the rude nicknames aside. Alfred had a lot of options of people to go to, so him picking Allen would be the first red flag to pay attention. Allen would sit down with Alfred and talk to him about whatever he needed and if any action had to be taken, Allen would tell Alfred that he was his man. Allen may act like he didn’t want to be associated with Alfred, but when it comes down to it, Allen is there for Alfred if he needs him.
