Scotland, Why won’t England accept your, “I love you”?

“Because of me…I raised him too harshly. I was still hurting and I took it out on him. I kept pushing him away, always yelling at him and telling him to be better…then when he needed us, needed me. I wasn’t there for him. I abandoned him basically after a point…so he grew up strong, but cold and without a family supporting him. I regret it to this day, but I can’t change it. It happened. And I need to live with it.”
