fred/shaggy and daphne/velma canonically live together in what’s new scooby doo so i’m allowed to draw this -v-

This comic is lovely and loving though I’m a bit confused? Since when does Shaggy, Mr. eats a million hotdogs, dog treats, many miles high sand which with literally everything on it not eat meat? Is this from the new series? If so, why? Please know I’m not bashing anything just am genuinely curious how come? (Seriously the comic is cute as fuck)

once shaggy’s original voice actor Casey Kasem became a vegetarian he wanted his character to be one too and since then Shaggy’s been mostly portrayed as a vegetarian – although not in the post!abracadabradoo direct to dvd movies and scooby doo: mystery inc. and be cool scooby doo.
