Mimikyuu were rarely seen in the past. It would hide in dark caves, crevices and other spots to avoid sunlight. They adopted cloths as a means of becoming more mobile, and to get closer to people. During the Alolan Pikachu craze they adapted further.
It was believed that Mimikyuu used their disguises to lure in children to eat. This old wive’s tale has only recently been challenged by trainers of Mimikyuu.
Although they are shy around people and other pokemon, Mimikyuu seem to have an almost telepathic connection to others of its kind. If you befriend one Mimikyuu, others seem to instinctively trust you.
Mimikyuu like the rain, but their costumes often end up dripping wet and smudged.
They make squeaker noises, much like a popular stuffed toy.
Mimikyuu like hanging onto bits of fabric belonging to their trainer, such as an old sock or handkerchief. If your socks keep going missing, your mimikyuu may have started a little collection.
