I can understand how frustrating it is to be excited about something for people to dismiss or ridicule it. I’m so sorry that the community has done that but I’m sure that if you are more vocal about how you feel about this issue, more people would be conscious and considerate the next time you upload. And when you said it’s “just reality”, it shouldn’t be. I get it, you worked hard on your videos and you deserved to be treated seriously.
honestly, mark deserves a lot better than what we have been giving him. he’s been working his ass off nonstop for the past few months making ego-related content and all we ever do is shit on him. at what point does the joke end and the “just reality” start?
this guy’s got the thickest skin in the world but to not even feel loved by his own community? damn. it’s like we’ve all ganged up against him — which may have been funny before, the first few times, but it’s practically a ritual now. we feel obliged to hate him for doing ego stuff.
there’s a fine line between saying “aa!! we’re not ready!!” and “fischfuck and his stupid ego shit” you know? let’s go back to the kinder stuff. like, “wow. i’m so excited for the ego things happening. let’s theorize!” i mean, i haven’t seen any theories lately. just loads of hate.
it’s just not right. and it’s definitely not that funny, because i know for some people (me included) this swarm of negativity has actually caused some resentment towards mark. as if our community is in no way affiliated with him, even though he cultivated it and brought us all together.
tl;dr: can we be nicer to this good man that’s been giving us five whole years of amazing content?
