as upsetting as it is that stephen hawking has passed away, that the world has lost such a great mind, a quick wit, an inspiration, and a very kind and compassionate individual,,,
i’m very happy that it happened on march 14th, pi day. when geeks of the world go “lmao.. get it, pi, because 3.14” and it’s also the day that albert einstein was born. a day for the science and math lovers of the world. and as sad as we are to see him go, i gotta believe that stephen hawking, scientist and mathematician who also loved a good joke, would be very entertained that his death happened on pi day. like if it had to happen, march 14 was definitely the day.
