What an absolutely scRUMPTIOUS tidbit. I will say that roman’s sash is important, but more in a symbolic way. Its his sign as a knight, a symbol of his status as Captain of the royal gaurd, and it represents all that he stands for(bravery, chivalry, kindness, etc…) and he takes great pride when wearing it. Thats also the reason its the first thing he discards when he becomes ‘king’ as it is now a status symbol below him. Virgil holds on to it cause it’s the last real connection he has to the man roman once was
