Virgil: Because the world is, objectively, terrifying.

Logan: Not true. Terror is a subjective emotion. Objectively speaking, the world is dangerous.

Virgil: Thank you, Logan, that’s helpful.

Logan: You’re welcome. And while terror is subjective, I suppose it isn’t an unreasonable response to the fact that human life has an almost 100% fatality rate.
