Me, sipping on my angst coffee: That’s nice and all but what if… that wasn’t the reason.
Just…what if Roman thought, even though him and Virgil are mildly getting along better that he still feels like Virgil would somehow call something out or mess something up. Even with all the worrying of wanting whatever Roman was planning on doing to be perfect, he knew Virgil was apart of this group now and that he can’t just be cut out, he has to be included at least a bit. But didn’t give Virgil multiple lines in fear of him screwing things up somehow so he just decides to give Virgil ONE SIMPLE line he could just sing over and over. Not to mention that it’s a pretty ridiculous one and that even tho it seemed funny to Roman, he really didn’t want to be the one singing it. Then when they reach towards the end of video Roman realizes that he was being quite a jerk for making Virgil sing something that he couldn’t understand and insteads tells himself “hey why don’t you, not be a dick for a couple measly minutes and rewrite this.” So he does but everybody ends up singing the rewritten line because not only was it true, but it was from the heart and it’s better to sing something like that all together. Idk. Just wanted to share my thoughts.
