It’s a fact that species that haven’t been hunted by humans aren’t usually scared of people as the prey of our ancestors is. We arrive on new planets, expecting curious life forms and sapient aliens willing to communicate. To our confusion, every species we meet, sapient or not, is terrified as the mere sight of a human.
