i love bnha but some of the things in it are just hilariously silly, whether it’s the name puns, the character designs, the quirks,
they’re all very cool and used in interesting ways in the series but when u break them down to the bare essentials they’re pretty ridiculous??? what the hell was goin through H’s mind when he was designing some of these quirks???
- iida “let’s put rockets on a human being for Maximum Fast” tenya
- eijirou is mohs hardness scale
- todoroki is just pineapple apple pen but w hot cold human slapped together to make one dysfunctional angst teen
- bakugou, um. is literally what you get when you give volatile emotional issues to a sweat bomb. he’s got explosive sweat.
- hagakure, a shortcut to designing one less face in a ridiculously huge cast of characters
i say “but” but this is also smth i love about this dumb series. it’s stupid nonsensical sometimes dipping into reasonable explanations depending on the execution sometimes being “fuck dude that’s just how it be so deal” and i love it
