This reminds me of the time my grandmother turned on the wrong burner for tea, instead using the one under a glass lid for a skillet.

And all I hear from the kitchen is, “Uh-oh. *DOOMF!*” from her realizing her mistake a second or two before the lid exploded.

This makes me feel a little better about my slightly bland bell pepper steak stir fry last week
