Greetings! The name is Time Lizzy, or Time as my friends call me. They/Them pronouns. I love to try new things, draw, sing, dance, garden, and I do some witchcraft in my free time. I'm a Hetalia role playing partner if you guys are interested.
Imagine Roman, when Thomas was young and in his teens, being shackled and not being able to meet the other sides. His whole life revolved around the small room he had been created in. Roman couldn’t even talk because he had no one to help him. He knew words and the likes, but couldn’t physically do it.
Sometimes, if he had enough power, he could watch Patton, Logan, and Virgil interact with one another (on the rare occasion that they did). He would always wonder what it felt like to cuddle up to another living creature.
The shackles would only lessen when Thomas needed to create something, but other than that, he would be forced to stay in the small corner of his room.
His shackles only broke after Thomas started doing Vines, as he needed his creativity and imagination much more than he did previously. The others don’t know this and think him to still be the youngest side.
Imagine: Roman gets bruised whenever Thomas lets an offhanded comment get to him. These bruises, usually the size of a dime, hurt as he has collected hundreds over his creation. Some disappear but the majority of them stay.
The really hurtful comments cause internal bruising. He still has some internal bruises and these make walking and moving around difficult and painful. He hasn’t told any of the sides or Thomas about this and just covers them up with an illusion.
The only way to get rid of the bruises is for the others to compliment him and just tell him how much they love him. This makes his self-esteem (and ego) repair themselves.
A/N: I fixed it. I’m actually (not) (kind of) sorry for that big bucket of Roman angst, BUT here’s my recompense. Don’t come for me. I love Roro I promise.
Summary: Too much pressure and anything will break, including princes, but thankfully for Roman, he has three loving, careful friends who will catch the pieces and put them back together, even if it takes sappy moments and talk-therapy.

“What…was that?!” Virgil cries out, hugging himself tightly as he tries to keep himself steady on his feet. “Why was he…what…I didn’t….was that my fault?!” Virgil’s eyes are wild as he looks back and forth between Patton and Logan, the other two locking in a silent battle of regrets with their eyes. “Tell me!” Virgil pleads, frozen in place even as Patton finally, slowly, approaches him.
“Virge…when you went back to your room, Roman had a little…meltdown, I guess you could call it.”
“We do not know the precise cause of his distress,” Logan continues. “But judging from his words, Roman is experiencing inner turmoil that has only been exacerbated by our criticism.”
“He said some really mean stuff about himself.” Patton whispers sadly.
