Greetings! The name is Time Lizzy, or Time as my friends call me. They/Them pronouns. I love to try new things, draw, sing, dance, garden, and I do some witchcraft in my free time. I'm a Hetalia role playing partner if you guys are interested.
Last night I had a dream about Deceit. He was just hanging out in the kitchen, getting a drink or something. And like. The others were just talking to him. And because he could only talk in lies, they just took everything at opposite face value.
Like
Roman: “Deceit, do you need help finding anything?” Deceit: (in a totally normal tone of voice) “I would hate that, I know exactly where everything is, I’m so angry you asked.” Roman: “Okay, hang on, I’ll come help.” Deceit: “You are completely unappreciated.” Roman: “You’re welcome.”
and
Patton: “Hey, Deceit, I’m about to cook some dinner! Want me to fix a plate for you?” Deceit: “I’m not hungry at all.” Patton: “Okay! I’m making pasta and garlic bread. Is that okay?” Deceit: “I loathe pasta with every fiber of my being. But I would love it if you put a lot of mushrooms in it.” Patton: “Hold the mushrooms, got it.”
and
Logan: “We’re going to watch a movie while we eat. What is your favorite Disney movie?” Deceit: “I absolutely hate The Lion King. It never makes me cry.” Logan: “All right. We’ll put it on.”
and
Virgil: “Thanks for not being absolutely horrible tonight.” Deceit: “I’m upset you would say that. I tried very hard to be as horrible as possible.” Virgil: “I know.” Deceit: “I’m not at all happy you let me stay for the movie.” Virgil: “Don’t mention it.”
AND NOW I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING because the whole thing was just so straight-forward? Like? They were all so casual about it???
Deceit is definitely a villain, but as a part of Thomas, he can’t be that bad. Somehow I could see this happening. XD
This is.. kind of cute and domestic? Lol oh my goodness
I love this! I have epic, full-on story dreams, and OP has domestic dreams. Our brains are writing fanfiction, lol
“A dream… is a wish your heart makes…” Virgil sings quietly under his breath as he stacks cans on the shelf before he sighs and smacks his head against the shelf gently. “Okay, future soulmate, I get it, you’re a Disney nerd. Now let me work!”
“Soulmate singing?” Logan, Virgil’s manager, peers around the corner at the end of the aisle and Virgil just nods from where his forehead is still resting against the cool metal. “You okay?”
“Yeah, but I think something’s up with-“ Virgil gestures to his head and Logan nods in understanding.
“Yes, I understand. Patton has been-“
“I’ve been what?” Patton, a regular customer at the supermarket and Virgil’s boss’ soulmate, peeks around the corner and beams at the two of them. “Hi, Virge! Logie Bear, you ready to go?”
“Yes, darling. Virgil, I assume you can close up?”
“Yeah, boss man. Go home, I’ll see ya tomorrow.” Logan nods again and walks over to Patton, wrapping an arm around Patton’s waist and dropping a kiss in his hair. Virgil watches them leave and finishes stocking the shelf, putting the ladder away before he goes to the front.
It’s fairly late at night and Virgil is preparing to close up when someone comes sprinting through the automatic doors. Virgil only notices it’s a man when he stops dead and turns in a slow circle, gazing at the shelves intensely.
“Uh… Hey, buddy? Need some help?” The man’s gaze snaps to Virgil, who barely refrains from flinching under the piercing stare.
“Yes, good man! I need some trash bags! If you could direct me to the correct aisle?” Virgil silently points the way and the man falls into an ostentatious bow before running off, bellowing music at the top of his lungs. Virgil almost tries to ignore the man, when he realizes he’s begun singing too. Gently, he touches his fingertips to his lips and stares after the man.
Virgil’s the only person left at the registers, and the man has stopped singing when he gets in line. He decides he has to take matters into his own hands and starts singing an MCR song under his breath as he scans the man’s box of trash bags. The man doesn’t immediately notice that he’s singing and completes the transaction, walking away from the line before he stops dead in his tracks. Virgil giggles behind his hand as the man slams his hands onto the counter and stares at Virgil intently.
“Are you… My soulmate?”
“I should hope so.” Virgil snarks and the man grins charmingly as he holds a hand out for Virgil to shake. “I’m Virgil.”
“Roman. And may I just say, I think I already love you.”
