  • When Star Lord said that Thor was tall “and not handsome” Peter’s head whIPPED UP and he looked extremey confused which is how a bi boy who has a crush on Thor would react check and mate

also in homecoming when he meets the thieves in avengers masks he tells the thor one “i thought you’d be more handsome in person” and does impressions of thor in the mirror. everyone talks about tony being peters hero and idol but his fanboy crush is totally thor

A++++ addition Peter definitely has a crush on Thor confirmed

So I wrote an angsty snippet for @the-pastel-peach‘s OCAT AU.  I don’t know if this classified as angst, but it definitely needed a sequel.

Virgil sat on a bench in the park.  He didn’t remember coming here, but his brain was too fuzzy to sort through his most recent memories.

“Virgil!”  A voice was calling for him and Virgil blinked, getting to his feet just as Roman came walking down the path with a picnic basket tucked into his side.  “Hello, dear.  Ready for our picnic?”

“I… Don’t know.”  Virgil admitted, but Roman merely beamed and kissed him softly on the cheek.

“Excellent!  Patton agreed to cook so it should be edible this go-around.”  Roman laced his fingers with Virgil’s and began pulling him along softly.  “I found this cherry blossom tree and figured we could eat under it for the aesthetic.”

“Wait…”. Virgil pulled his hand free of Roman’s and halted in his tracks.  Roman, however, continued walking down the brown dirt path, his hand still folded as if Virgil was still tagging along with him.  “Wait, I remember this.  This is where…”

“I’ve got a special surprise planned!”  Roman interrupted and laughed at something Virgil had told him in the past.  “Oh, but this is a good surprise, I promise!”

“This is when you told me you loved me.”  Virgil whispered under his breath.  “Roman, what’s wrong with you?  Why am I remembering this?”  As if his words conjured him, a copy of Virgil wavered into existence, doing exactly what Virgil had already done in the memory.  “I was… Just in the-“  Gasping, Virgil’s hands flew down to curl over his stomach.  “I was stabbed.”

“Glad you remember.”  Turning, Virgil came face-to-face with a stoic Logan.  “Hello, Virgil.”

“Logan?  What…?”

“I know as much as you do.”  Logan replied calmly, turning and walking away.  Virgil spared a second to glance over his shoulder (his double was crying tears of joy as Roman confessed his love) before he took off after Logan.  “You see, I’m merely a figment of your imagination.”

“Am I dead?”  Virgil asked but Logan merely shrugged, not ceasing in his walking.

“Virgil, while I usually adore laying all the answers at your feet, this time I simply cannot.  You must find them for yourself.”

“How do I do that?”  Virgil asked and Logan stopped, turning to look him dead in the eye.

“Wake up.”

The ground shook as Logan spoke, and Virgil staggered before falling to a sitting position.  He looked up and made eye contact with Logan before the ground crumbled under him and he fell into the void.

“It’s been three days.”  Patton whispered, leaning his head on Logan’s shoulder.  The two stood in the doorway that led into the infirmary.  They watched Roman, a blanket draped around his shoulders, as he sat motionless at Virgil’s bedside.  “Logan, he needs to eat, at least!”

“I know, Patton.”  Logan murmured, tucking Patton into his side and placing a kiss in his hair.  “Go make him something.  I’ll see if I can convince him to eat.  You’ll need to bring it back here, though, alright?”

“I can do that.”  Beaming up at Logan, Patton wriggled out of his arms and took off down the hall away from the infirmary.  Logan watched him go before he sighed and popped his neck.

“Well, no time like the present.”

“You have a choice.”  Virgil stood in a white room, facing Patton.  A white cloth was bound around Patton’s eyes but he smiled at Virgil like he could see him perfectly through the cloth.  “You can wake up, or you can die.  Simple, right?”

“It’s no competition.”  Virgil scowled and crossed his arms.

“Waking up will hurt.  You were stabbed in the stomach, kiddo, there’s going to be a lot of pain.”

“Life hurts.”  Virgil responded and Patton shrugged.

“Alright, I guess.  You’re willing to live?”

“Of course.  I’ve got a family, and they need me.”  Patton grinned and slid off the glass throne he had been perched regally upon.  He strode towards Virgil and wrapped both hands around Virgil’s brow as if they were forming an invisible crown.

“Then wake up.”

Logan had barely taken a step into the infirmary when Patton returned with a bowl of soup on a tray.  When Logan looked at him quizzically, Patton shrugged.

“The chef said it was already made.  The others are worried, too.”  The two walked towards Roman and Patton set the tray on a side table before gently tapping Roman on the shoulder.  “Roman?  We brought some food for you.”

“Not hungry.”  Roman murmured, sounding dull and empty.

“I will force this down your throat if I have to, young man.”  Patton threatened him sternly and Roman hunched his shoulders up around his ears.

“I don’t deserve to eat.”

“Now, that’s just illogical.”  Logan interrupted, Patton retrieving his food tray and placing it on the bed right in Roman’s line of sight.  “You weren’t in control of your actions and you didn’t know that you were throwing a knife at Virgil.”

“But I took over a kingdom!”  Roman yelled, finally standing.  He had sat at Virgil’s bedside for so long that his legs wobbled the longer he struggled to stay upright.  “I hurt Virgil!”

“And you didn’t mean to!”  Logan yelled back.  “Now for the love of God, eat something!”

“Please?”  Patton broke out the puppy dog eyes and Roman crossed his arms over his chest, preparing to retort, when Virgil finally moved.  Instantly any tension vanished as Roman rushed to grab Virgil’s hand, and the other two stood back slightly.

“Roman…?”  Virgil’s eyes screwed shut at the light streaming through the windows but he still gazed up at Roman sleepily.

“I’m so sorry, darling.”  Roman squeezed Virgil’s hand.  “I understand if you hate me, or-“

“Don’t be stupid.”  Virgil tugged insistently on Roman’s hand until the knight leaned down and kissed him.  “I dreamed about our cherry tree.”

“I remember that.”  Roman smiled, even as tears began streaming down his face.  “I love you so much, Virgil.”

“I love you too.”  Virgil smiled up at Roman and reached up to gently wipe his tears away.  “I stormed a kingdom for you.”
