You know what I’ve always liked about the Animal Crossing series?
It’s that I can set my own goals and take my time to accomplish them. I could spend some time fishing and hope I find something to donate to the museum, or harvest fruit to expand my house, or redecorate. It’s all up to me, and whatever I don’t do today I can do later at my leisure.
You know what I’ve always liked about mobile games?
How I only need to put a few minutes in to feel like I’ve accomplished something. It’s that compact, bite-sized, but still entertaining experience that makes me bother with them in lieu of a fuller console experience.
