Atem’s Return

Hello, everyone! After seeing different posts about Yu-gi-oh the Dark Side of dimensions movie, a lot of you wondered how Atem could possibly return, although he is in the afterlife, as far as we know, so after reading many theories I decided to share my own, based on the movie manga than the movie itself.

When Kaiba was sitting in his home sera appeared and tried to tell Him that he will never be king unless he defeats one person, a person no longer exists in the living world, a resident of the netherworld.

She told him that with his new technology he could overboard the dimensions using his conciseness to reach a higher dimension, which means the third dimension, she said she heard the voice of an extremely important person.

All these clues make us wonder: maybe just maybe Atem is not in the afterlife but in a parallel world.

Now moving to the movie, during Kaiba battle against diva, he summoned obelisk, which apparently is a forbidden card that should not be used ever again and diva said that obelisk does not listen to anyone but the pharaoh.

At that moment, Kaiba was thinking he must not be defeated until he defeats the pharaoh, for the first time he called Atem by his name.

As a result, he was suddenly able to summon obelisk in the shape of Atem power that allows him to draw any card anytime. Therefore, Atem heard Kaiba call and granted his wish by telling obelisk to help Kaiba. That gives us a clue that Atem is near.

Now to his next appearance, when Joey was trapped in that dimension and to get out one must remember him, of course, no one was able to get him out because no one knew or remembered him inside that cold world actually in the first place no one exists there.

Nevertheless, Atem did, he entered that world and saved him to appear as joey remember him in their duel, Atem was able to get joey out, by telling him that he will never forget their promise so he must survive.

When Joey returned, no one ever thought that maybe just maybe the pharaoh came again; even Diva was shocked by joey survival.

Finally, his last appearance, one should know Atem did not appear because of Yugi wish, Yugi never asked for Atem help he did not even believe that Atem would return again, he tried his best to tell Kaiba that the pharaoh has gone forever, so that excludes Yugi wish for Atem to save him.

Atem counted on Yugi victory but his body was too weak to hold him up anymore, and Atem knows that the world will end if Yugi dies so he yet again appeared and crossed dimensions to help him.

Yugi told Kaiba “thank you” because Kaiba gave him a lesson to believe in his friend and never give up hope in seeing him again

Again, Atem agreed and opened the path for Kaiba by giving him the cube to help him cross dimensions safely.

By his appearance, he told everyone that he is free, not bound to any millennium item, and can come and go whenever he wants.He showed Diva, what truth lays behind the prophecy.

The long waited world is false, for he could come and stay in any world, the world he lives in is not what Diva and the others think.

Atem took the puzzle, and after his disappearance Diva and Plana powers gone along with him, the cube went to Kaiba and the ring was lost in the dark dimension yet again.

Atem appeared before Yugi without the bracelets but in all his other appearances he was wearing the bracelets and had white skin as everyone remembers him not as he really is.

I think the truth behind the prophecy is when the 7-millennium items gather, the true power of the chosen pharaoh “ Atem “ will be unleashed as the PROTECTOR OF ALL DIMENSIONS

At least that is what I personally think, there is no possible way that the netherworld king or the afterlife king would be able to cross the time and place anytime unless he is in a different afterlife than we could imagine, thanks for reading so far.
