Greetings! The name is Time Lizzy, or Time as my friends call me. They/Them pronouns. I love to try new things, draw, sing, dance, garden, and I do some witchcraft in my free time. I'm a Hetalia role playing partner if you guys are interested.
Awwwww you are sweet!!! Being mentioned with the author of It‘s only logical is a great honor! That fic got me into the fandom in the first place!
I have to agree @whatwashernameagain. Keep Him Safe is far better than a lot of books I have read. I also really like @altruistic-skittles Hey There Little Red Ridding Hood.
I’ve translated the ones that aren’t in English! (at least the ones in the main photoset, my Chinese isn’t good and I’m too tired from doing those translations to sit and decipher some of the characters that are blurry haha sorry)
I’ve only seen this post in screenshots on pinterest. I love it.
I think you missed the other fanboy…
Love this
Everybody says Seb isn’t like Bucky… but he IS. He’s Bucky without a mask on. Bucky’s always wearing some sort of mask. Even around Steve. Seb is what Bucky would be like if he’d had the chance to just ~be~.
Patton scurrying across the floor of the living room at 3 in the morning with his little raccoon hands and his hair in disheveled pigtails: WHERE is the appley juice
Roman, fender him off with a flyswatter: LOGAN THE CREATURE IS BACK
there are so many layers in this and we’re just not gonna get context huh
A g r e e. The only stuff that gets big is from those who already have a sizable following
🍵 *sips* hmmmmm
It’s almost as if showing something to more people means more people see it. It’s almost as if more people see something Thomas reblogs than something I reblog. It’s almost as if having followers means more people follow you.
Look, no one who has more followers than someone else is any more valid of a person, any more valid of a creator, or deserves it more than anyone else. Nor does it mean they’ve done anything–I can’t force people to follow me, I have no control over whether they do or not. What I can do is reblog things from the people I follow–which I do. Does that mean that I reblog the things I see? Yes. Does it mean I see everything in the fandom? Fuck no. I don’t have time to keep up with my dash, much less go to the tags. Which means yes–I am more likely to see something if it’s from a blog 10k people follow than one that only 100 do, because it’s more likely that one of the 300 odd people I follow will have seen it.
Reblog what you like, reblog what you enjoy, but reblog only what you want on your own blog. No one should be required to reblog anything out of emotionally manipulative passive aggressive guilt trips, no matter how many people have decided to follow them. I wouldn’t want someone to reblog my work if they didn’t want to. I don’t expect my smut to get reblogged–many people are embarrassed to have that on their dash. I don’t expect a hardcore logicality shipper to reblog my logince–in fact I wouldn’t expect them to follow me in the first place.
People have a choice in the content they place on their own blogs. Trying to guilt them into changing their behavior will not succeed–it will cause them to disengage with you, unfollow you, and avoid your content entirely.
Which you are welcome to do with mine, if it is not something you wish to see. I’d like my follows, reblogs and likes to be inspired by honest appreciation, not obligation.
I’m doing a Philosophy paper on Asexuality. Please reblog if you think Love without Sex is possible! I really need the data. Like if you think love has to have sex.
OH DEFINITELY. Without doubt.
Nearly liked this one on accident! Whoof
Accidentally liked
I accidentally liked but then I took that like away and now I’m rebloging
Of course??? I mean, duh???
So, this is just a random anecdote, but I thought it’d apply. My spanish class was learning how to do different dances, and we had to pair up. Well, some of the girls had to pair up with other girls because our class isn’t 50/50. And amazingly enough, I’m paired up with the only other Ace person in the class. Both of us start dancing, and we’re both way better than everyone else. After our dance, she practically yells, “Ha! Asexuals can have meaningful relationships, and they can dance better!” I just thought it was hilarious.
Um, love without sex is obviously still love; what is the counter argument?
I don’t think we give the first Sanders Sides video enough credit. Not only does it have a LOT of cool things we don’t see in later videos- Roman with a deeper voice roasting Thomas so openly, Logan smiling so much, Patton sipping the tea and understanding that meme, THIS face:
But there’s an interesting bit of dialogue in there that makes a very interesting point. It references Thomas’s standing on relationships but I think it applies to everything else as well:
Logan: You tend to overthink things, rule out possibilities with logic. Dream up obstacles with each new connection you make.
Thomas: That’s when the Anxiety kicks in.
Then later Roman says: “Wouldn’t want to be our own villain would we?”
There’s a lot I could unpack here but as this is the first video and Virgil has yet to make an appearance I think it’s important to remember that without Anxiety fretting over these things, Logan is overthinking and doing the ruling out of romantic possibilities without Virgil and Roman is dreaming up obstacles as he is the dreamer.
Anxiety also literally became his own villain, which I think is one of the reasons Roman disliked him at first. The Prince would never consider that.
Anxiety is Thomas’s self preservation in a lot of ways. It’s possible that when Logan’s overthinking and Roman’s dreaming up obstacles and Patton is left with all those negative feelings, that Virgil steps up and stops them from going down those negative paths before they can happen. Don’t dream up false romances you’ll only disappoint yourself. Stop thinking of possibilities altogether so you can’t be hurt by ruling them out. Protect yourself by being cautious.
I don’t know, those lines just really stand out to me.
